Hi, I'm Michelle. As an accredited Hypnotherapist and trainee Psychotherapist, I am dedicated to guiding you on your journey towards the profound change and growth you want in your life.

My purpose is to guide you in transforming where you are now, and what isn’t working or doesn’t feel okay, onto a path towards a more fulfilling life that feels true to you. I am here to help you feel more empowered to embrace the next chapter and unfold your potential to live fully and true to yourself.

Professional Credentials & Ethical Standards

I am a qualified Hypnotherapist, registered by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the National Society of Talking Therapies (NSTT).

I am also a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) accredited trainee in Psychotherapy, completing Master’s level academic training.

Being accredited and registered by these professional organisations provides you with the confidence that I am trained to a high standard, fully insured, and adhere to the rigorous standards set by the UKCP Code of Ethics, Practice and Safety.

An Integrative Approach

Our work is first and foremost grounded in our relationship - a space where you feel safety, trust, empathy and acceptance.

I work alongside you to help you understand yourself more, identify what is holding you back, while also working towards your dreams and what truly nourishes you.

As a Hypnotherapist and trainee Psychotherapist we have the possibility and flexibility to draw from a rich tapestry of approaches that we can integrate into our work.

Some of these methods may include Humanistic and Person-Centred approaches, Hypnotherapy (including Ericksonian methods), Solution-Focussed therapy, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Parts work, and somatic/mind-body techniques and others.

You’re not expected to know what all these mean before we start therapy. What we choose to focus on is led by you, informed and intentional, ensuring it is uniquely beneficial to your journey.

My Own Journey to The Authentic Space

Building trust is the foundation of effective therapy, and I appreciate the curiosity around knowing your therapist. While our work is entirely focused on you, sharing a small part of my own story may help to demonstrate the power of the therapeutic process.

I first sought therapy in my twenties, struggling under the overwhelming stress and emotional hurt connected to a close family member’s mental health. Therapy offered me something invaluable: a supportive, compassionate and at times challenging space, where I could finally explore my bottled-up, difficult thoughts and emotions, and focus on myself with unconditional acceptance.

The profound shift I experienced wasn't just about coping; it was about discovering and nurturing parts of myself that I never knew existed. I found a greater sense of self-acceptance, self-empowerment and lasting resilience.

My personal journey serves as proof of therapy's transformative power and inspired me to offer this possibility to others.

Because I have sat in the client’s seat, I approach our work with deep, lived empathy and with an unwavering belief in your capacity for profound healing and change. I am here to provide that reliable space for you to reconnect with your authentic self and discover your own path forward.
